1.) When you register an account here on Shattered Sun, please understand we are a one character per account role play site. This means that for every character you want to play, we require that you register a new account.

2.) Your username may be anything you desire, but please change your display name to reflect your character's first (and if applicable, last) name with proper capitalization.

3.) We allow users to register and play as many characters as they wish, so please keep in mind how active you can keep them all. If you don't think you can keep another character active, perhaps you might want to hold off on registering it.

4.) Before you start role playing, your application must be filled out completely and it must be accepted by an administrator or global moderator.

1.) Please respect each other and the staff. Don't take things that happen out of character into your role play, and vice versa. If you hate someone, please just leave them alone. If an issue gets too out of hand, an administrator or global moderator will gladly help so please don't be afraid to go to them.

2.) To keep the site alive, activity is a must, both in character and out. Random activity checks will take place, and we will ask for links to your role plays within a specified period of time.

3.) Please do not spam any part of this forum. In advance, we thank you.

4.) If you notice anyone breaking a rule, please report it so it can be dealt with. We discourage mini-modding.

1.) We strictly prohibit god modding and power playing unless all parties involved agree that this is acceptable, and have posted stating as much. This means you can not control any aspect of another person's character, and you can not act as a God (i.e. auto-hitting without giving the other person a chance to defend themselves, never taking any damage, et cetera).

2.) We allow liquid time. This means that your character may be in more than one thread at a time. If this is too much for you however, you are welcome to stick to one thread at a time. We will not frown upon that.

3.) We require a minimum of five full sentences per in character post. We do understand writer's block, and there's nothing wrong with the occasional three or four sentence post. We also ask you please use proper spelling and grammar.

4.) We will not tolerate any kind of plagairism or theft. So please make sure what you are about to post, be it text, image, et cetera is your own or something you have permission from the original owner to use.

5.) We absolutely require role playing in the third person only. This means posts like "I howled for the Alpha. I'm anxious to become part of the pack." are prohibited. The correct way to post that would be "Rufus howled for the Alpha. He was anxious to become part of the pack."

6.) Be realistic with your character in your application. We require realistic appearances (until an unrealistic appearance feature is bought from the shop), histories, abilities, and ages. For example, a two-month-old lone pup isn't going to survive. Also, a fatally wounded lone wolf probably wouldn't survive either. We do not permit elements, wings, et etera.

7.) Alphas have the right to add custom ranks to their pack's information if they have purchased it from the shop. They are also allowed to decide who gets what rank. They may also add rules for their own pack to abide by. Please be sure to resepct this.

8.) Graphic mating and birthing is prohibited.

1.) Though fights can be over anything, we only allow one full dodge per fight. Also, defensive moves reset each post, so you do have to restate them every time.

2.) When fighting, if a character attacks yours and you do not state whether they hit or missed, the other person has the right to choose for you. This does not count as power playing in this particular case, so please make sure you are deciding for your own character.

3.) Any fight lasting longer than 7 days real time will be ended and judged by a higher ranking wolf.

4.) Any wolf that dies on our site is dead. There are no reincarnations, revivals, excuses. They are not allowed back.
